- Tim Berners-Lee distribuye a través de Internet, en alt.hypertext newsgroup, el primer servidor web y el navegador, que funcionaba con una interfaz de línea de mandatos. Los servidores web empezarón a aparecer alrededor del mundo casi de inmediato.
